Epoxy Flooring Alternative

It delivers comparable abrasion and chemical resistance while replacing solvent-based epoxy with a waterborne nano-silica system. VOC is only about 1/10 of epoxy, with low jobsite odor and better environmental and personnel friendliness.

UV Non-Yellowing

Core nano-silica technology: xenon lamp aging for 1000h with color difference ΔE ≤ 2 (epoxy typically ΔE > 5). No more concern about floor yellowing under long-term sunlight.

Rich and Durable Color

Full standard RAL color range plus custom matching. The waterborne system keeps color saturated and stable, maintaining the initial installed effect for 5-8 years.

What Is Nano-Silica Colorant

Nano-silica colorant is a waterborne colored flooring system based on nano-silica technology. It can serve as an upgraded alternative to epoxy flooring for commercial, industrial and public spaces.

Compared with traditional epoxy, it is significantly better in VOC emissions, UV stability, installation odor and long-term color retention. It retains epoxy's high strength, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance while solving two key epoxy pain points: solvent-based installation that is unfriendly to people and the environment, and yellowing under UV exposure.

It has already been used as an alternative in many projects originally specified for epoxy, with mature cases in underground parking areas, factory workshops, schools, hospitals and commercial spaces.

Typical Applications

Factory Workshops

Office buildings, retail showrooms and hotel back-of-house areas. Low VOC and stable color mean interiors no longer have the sharp odor associated with epoxy.

Industrial Plants

Medium-duty industrial floors, assembly lines, electronics factories and light textile plants. Comparable abrasion resistance with a more friendly waterborne system.
